Greetings Surrounding Communities!
On behalf of Dance Manifest Global Ministries we are excited that this year we are honoring four individuals in our community for their outstanding services in the various roles in which they serve in the 7 Mountains of Society. Through their dedication, commitment, loyalty, tenacity and love for humanity, have they witnessed the manifestation of transformation and reformation in their Sphere of Influence.
The word Trailblazer is defined as, a person who is the leader in a particular field. They are pioneers, groundbreakers, pathfinders and innovators, who sometimes take exiting ideas to a whole new level by finding new and better ways of doing something that brings about change which causes people and communities to advance forward.
They are passionate, courageous, radical and revolutionary as they are driven to see the people in their community succeed to be all that God has purposed for them to be in society.
As Jesus said to the Women with the Alabastor Box ( Matthew 26:19)
“What this Woman has done will also be told as a memorial to her.”

Edna Edmonds is a proud Youngstown, Ohio native and the Chief Operating Officer of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Youngstown. She is a dynamic leader, youth advocate, and trailblazer in community-based programming, collaboration, and curriculum development. She is dedicated to inspiring and empowering the next generation
A graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School (Class of 2008), Edna earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Science with a minor in Literature and Professional Writing from La Roche University in 2012. While at La Roche, she competed as a collegiate volleyball athlete on scholarship and was twice selected as a national Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) representative—an honor awarded to just one student per institution nationwide. In 2017, Edna earned her Master of Public Health from Purdue University, aligning her academic training with her lifelong passion for health equity, youth education, and public service. Her work has gained both regional and statewide recognition. In 2022, she was named one of Youngstown’s MVYP “25 Under 25”, and in 2023, she was honored at the SANKOFA Ball for her outstanding leadership in youth development. That same year, she led the creation of the first Boys & Girls Club within a Juvenile Justice Center in the state of Ohio—a transformative initiative now being explored as a model across the U.S. A frequent keynote speaker, Edna shares her voice and lived experience at national seminars focused on sexual risk avoidance, youth development, and community collaboration. But her work goes far beyond a podium—it lives in classrooms, communities, and everyday moments of mentorship. At home, Edna is a devoted wife of eight years and the proud mother of a bright five-year-old daughter, whom she calls her greatest achievement. She is also lovingly raising her niece and nephew after the loss of her sister, and together with her husband, cherishes their blended family, including their “bonus baby.” Through both triumph and adversity, Edna leads with heart. She believes young people deserve to see success modeled by those who understand their journey—and she is committed to being that example every single day. Edna views working with youth not just as a calling but as her life’s purpose. She is a visible example of perseverance, compassion, and leadership—someone young people can look up to and know that they, too, can achieve greatness. |
SARAH CRUZ-BANKS
MINISTRY BIOGRAPHY Sarah Cruz-Banks, serves as Associate Pastor at Spanish Evangelical Church. An urban, multicultural, bi-lingual ministry on the East Side of Youngstown; where she is blessed to serve under the leadership of Lead Pastors Rolando and Ruth Rojas. Currently leading the Altar Ministry, she also serves as Trustee, Translator, Teaches, Ministry Trainer, and Conference Speaker both locally and sectionally under the Spanish Eastern District, Assemblies of God. Some areas of ministry focus include equipping in prophetic intercession, spiritual warfare, as well as building Kingdom leaders. Her desire is to be an instrument of God who imparts, equips and prepares the body of Christ, discipling His people, while reaching the lost. Born in Youngstown on August 26, 1967, Sarah is a graduate of East High School and Harding Business College where she focused in Business Accounting and Secretarial Studies. Her parents Teodoro & Milagros relocated from Puerto Rico, Sarah is the middle child and has 3 sisters and 3 brothers. In 1993, she married Ken who is both her covering and support in all areas of life! This year they celebrate 33 years of marriage. They attribute the victory in their marriage to the keeping power of God. Both as mother and grandmother she prays over her family daily, together they declare the promise that “As for me and my house, we shall serve the Lord.” Recognizing the call of God over her life at an early age she received many prophetic words that are being fulfilled today. The importance of being empowered with boldness and anointing as well as discerning and obeying the voice of God, has been the key to her victory in life and ministry. It was under the ministries Unity and Women on the Frontline, led by Apostle Sherri Dawson, who is both her mentor and friend, that Sarah accepted her prophetic mantle. Soon Sarah would also mentor, equip and pour into many who birthed their ministries and remain on the front line today… all glory be to God! As part of her city wide prophetic call, Sarah has led prayer for Youngstown’s National Day of Prayer, served as Committee Member/Prayer Coordinator for the March for Jesus Mahoning Valley, She has opened in intercessory prayer for Dance Manifest Conferences under the vision of Apostle Debra Ingram as well as other ministry opportunities, cherishing each and every experience. Sarah is employed at Youngstown City Schools as Central Office Administrative Staff. Each day she is purposed to spread the love and light of Jesus through her walk and witness to both staff and students alike. Sarah also served as Administrative Assistant to Judge Renee Disalvo at the Youngstown Municipal Court. It was there that she was able to receive an even greater burden to share the good news of hope to the lost and hurting. What would happen if we united in authority and purpose as the Bride of Christ? Isaiah 61 speaks to her life’s purpose. It is because of His anointing power that she can fulfill the assignment of propelling others to walk in their destiny regardless of life’s circumstances and sufferings. Sarah would like to express her gratitude to God first and then Apostle Debra Ingram for the honor of being recognized at this year's Dance Manifest, The Governor’s Ball. It is because of God’s relentless pursuit and demonstration that if you answer yes to the call, He will use you, your failures, and your weakness for His glory. Remaining suited and booted, she fixes her helmet and her crown; after all she is the daughter of the King of Kings, humble to be chosen to advance His Kingdom work, and holding on to the promise that we will rule and reign in eternity with Him forever! |
